Importance of capillary vessel which occupies more than 99% of vessels.

There are arteries, veins, and capillary vessels in vessels. The area ratio of vessels are, 1 : 700 : 2 among arteries : capillary vessels : veins.

More than 99% of vein is consist of capillary vessel.

Capillary vessel connects venule and arteriole and it is distributed ramified deep into the system to provide oxygen and nutrient to each cell and to collect metabolic products ( waste products ).

It is different from other vessel wall, it consists of simple one layer of endothelial cell and pericyte, it excels the passage of material and matter exchange.

This mechanism of capillary vessel consists of human body and makes the life supports.

Artery often is combined with neighboring arteries and is commuted.

This is called anastomosis. Even though the part of the vessel is blocked it is possible to avoid acute emergency of life support to avoid blockage of passageway.

But there are the branch of arteries don’t make any anastomosis such as brain, lungs, kidney, retina, and internal ears.

This is called end vein. If those arteries are blocked, the blood cannot be reached after there, it leads to the acute life crisis by causing denaturation of the systems.

Therefore, in the organs closely related to onset of dementia or other adult diseases, such as brain, lung or kidney, capillaries play considerable roles, enormously contributing to maintaining life.

DISAJP observes current state of these peripheral vessels with Miculator, abloodstream-monitoring device powered by unique precision microscope technique, to follow up symptom relief in dementia.

Activities to collect scientific evidence

To diagnose dementia, the main stream is history taking such as “ Hasegawa scale “ which comes from Japan or Mini Mental State Examination that was developed by Folstein etc.

In 1975 in the US. collecting evidence by observing the blood vessel by “ Micurator “ microcirculation observation machine or the technique that Novel prize winner Mr. Koichi Tanaka of Shimadzu Corp, developed the technique of early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease by a very small amount of blood, 0.5 cc.

The developer of HDS-R Dr. Kazuo Hasegawa now living with dementia

Dr. Kazuo Hasegawa, an 89 year old professor emeritus of St. Marianna University School of Medicine specializing in geriatric psychiatry and dementia, also known as the developer of HDS-R, publicized to have been diagnosed as having dementia.

In an interview, Dr. Hasegawa spoke of his attitude as a dementia patient. ”I can do nothing without somebody’s help.

I keep it in my mind and ask my favors to handle my life. I get ready for my uncertain future to have a great day every day.

I want to do something helpful to others as much as I can.” He continues, describing the importance of sharing the feel that every living existence is precious.

“What is important is preciousness of being alive. Among billions of people around the world, nobody else is living my life, so it’s precious. It might sound presumptuous when I say my life is precious, but your life is precious as well. You have to know every person is valuable existence. I’ll keep my heart happy, always remembering the importance of laughter. ”

From a physiological perspective, our association believes adopting Chinese medicine besides the Western is enormously beneficial to prevention of dementia.

Among others, the king of Kanpo reishi regulates immune function, activating the system when it’s weakened and easing it when it’s excessive.

Reishi is also effective on regulating blood sugar level, moderating blood pressure, preventing formation of blood clots, ameliorating hyperlipidemia or hepatitis B and so on. Kouka was developed in Japan but overseas shipment is now available.
